singer/songwriter
Alex Fay makes music that feels like a conversation you weren’t ready to have but needed to.
Rooted in RnB and neo-soul, her sound is raw, intimate, and emotionally charged. Inspired by artists like Amy Winehouse, Sade, Jorja Smith, and Jordan Rakei, she writes the kind of music she wishes existed—unfiltered, vulnerable, and deeply personal.
... doesn’t make music for the background. Her songs pull you in — raw, soulful, and unapologetically honest. Rooted in RnB and neo-soul, her sound is as much about storytelling as it is about feeling.
Growing up loving rom-com soundtracks of the early 2000s (specifically the Bridget Jones Diary soundtracks), she started writing songs at 14 as a way to process life. At 17, she moved to the London to pursue music full-time and carve out a space for her voice and vision in the industry. Her music explores love, trauma, healing, and the unspoken complexities of human relationships—messy, beautiful, and everything in between.
Her debut album, And We Never Spoke, recorded at Abbey Road Studios, captures that honesty across nine tracks, including the single Dangerous Drug.
A year later she released her second single, NEED YOU (now), which showcases her more developed individual sound. Alex Fay performs at a number of venues around London number of times a year, where her goal is to create moments where people can just sit with a song and let it hit however it needs to.
Right now, she’s deep in her most personal and challenging project yet, pushing her sound, her words, and herself further than ever before.
"And We Never Spoke" is a project that Alex Fay made sure represented her growing artistry. Drawing a lot of inspiration from 'Bond movies' and her own life experiences. Alex Fay recorded this album of 9 songs at the renowned Abbey Road Studios in London.
